Annual election of the Kripplebush Lyonsville Fire District Tuesday, December 10th, 2024

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION AND PROPOSITION - Notice is hereby given that the annual election of the Kripplebush Lyonsville Fire District will be held on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, for the purpose of:

1. Electing one (1) Fire Commissioner for a term of five (5) years, commencing January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2029.

2. Voting on the following Proposition:

PROPOSITION - Shall the resolution by the Board of Fire Commissioners to re-establish an existing generic capital reserve fund pursuant to General Municipal Law Section 6-g into the following two funds be approved?

● Truck Fund: For the repair, replacement, maintenance, and improvement of fire trucks.

● Equipment Fund: For the repair, replacement, maintenance, and improvement of firefighting equipment.

The election will be held at: Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire House 519 Pine Bush Road, Stone Ridge, NY 12484. Polls will be open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

All duly registered resident voters of the District are eligible to vote. Candidates for Fire Commissioner must submit their names in writing to the District Secretary at [email protected], no later than November 25th, 2024.
