Description of Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees town fiscal matters, special districts, and capital projects.
  • Approves annual budget.
  • Authorizes all expenditures.
  • Adopts Local Laws and Ordinances.
  • Appoints all non-elected department heads.
  • Appoints members of all other municipal boards, commissions, and committees.

Regular Meeting Schedule:

The 1st Tuesday and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at Rondout Municipal Center, unless otherwise posted.
