ATTENTION TAXPAYERS:
 
The 2021 tax bills have been mailed.
 
• Taxes may be paid in full or equal half amounts (as described on your tax bill) on or before Feb. 6th, without interest. On all taxes paid after that date interest will be added at a rate of 1% for each month until June 1st.
 
• If you do not receive your taxes by the middle of January please call the office so we can send or email you another copy.
(Please note that due to Covid-19 the town offices are still CLOSED to the public and will be until further notice.)
 
How can you pay your 2021 county/town taxes?
 
Mail Option:
• Place your check and tax payment slip (found at the bottom of your tax bill) in the mail and send to:
PO Box 217, Stone Ridge, NY 12484.
• All checks made payable to: Tax Collector.
• Check must include a telephone number in case we need to contact you.
• Forms of checks accepted: personal, cashier/bank or postal money orders.
• A receipt will be mailed to you at a later date.
 
Drop Box Payments:
We have a drop box located outside of the Town of Marbletown main entrance door (the side of the building by the playground). If using this option:
• Please put your check and tax payment slip (found at the bottom of your tax bill) in a sealed envelope, addressed to Tax Collector.
• Check must include a telephone number in case we need to contact you.
• Forms of checks accepted: personal, cashier/bank or postal money orders.
• A receipt will be mailed to you at a later date.
 
Cash Payments:
We are discouraging all cash payments at this time. You can get a money order from the post office or a cashier’s check from your bank.
